Inglés con placer® has been around for over twenty years.
It is a learning-method where creativity and empathy play a key role,
and where the student is at the centre of the experience.
Our students have always told us they would like to share
their ideas (and doubts) with mates and colleagues, but in the hectic
lifestyle we lead this was almost impossible. So we came up with a new idea.
We started to meet once a month in a coffee shop in Belgrano,in a very relaxed and informal
atmosphere, to develop and enrich the command of the English language. Our first meeting took place
on July 14th 2007 and since then, we have been working full of enthusiasm and commitment.
The name of the group, Necklaces & Ties, comes from that first meeting.
One of the group members was wearing a beautiful, colourful necklace. As they were feeling a little bit uneasy and shy meeting  for the first time,  the necklace helped to break the ice. The ties symbolise the matching element and charm.
