Inglés con placer® has been around for over twenty years.
It is a learning-method where creativity and empathy play a key role,
and where the student is at the centre of the experience.
Our students have always told us how they wanted to share
their ideas (and doubts) with other colleagues, but how in the chaotic
life we lead this was almost impossible. So this year we came up with a new idea.
We started to meet once a month in a coffee shop, in a very relaxed and informal
atmosphere, to develop and enrich the command of the English language.
Out first meeting took place on July 14th.
Since then, a group of enthusiastic and creative students,
and their coordinator, have been meeting every month at nearby coffee stores.
The name of the group, Necklaces & Ties, comes from that first meeting.
One of the group members was wearing a beautiful, colourful necklace.
The students were meeting each other for the first time and the
necklace helped to break the ice. The ties symbolise the matching element and charm.
