Why reading “The Purloined Letter?

It has been a very interesting recommendation by our friend Valerie, in order to keep on working with the “self-deception” concept. It seems to be a clear way to see what it is called “hiding something in plain view.” Its approach is to prevent the observer from seeing the centre of the truth… as when we are sometimes distracted with a big event and don’t see the real obstacle, at least momentarily… Hope those of you interested enjoy the reading.

I’ve already started reading it… but I’m finding it’s kind of difficult and in some moments confusing… so I guess it would be a good idea to read and share it with the group…
This is the idea Paola, to work together analysing Poe’s work in order to get the best possible learning from this excellent story and keep growing in our creative process…
Self-deception is a very interesting topic! Before our meeting I had thought that it was related to self-disappointment. It would be a good idea to read E.A.Poe!
